The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Jen @ Crazy-For-Books
This weeks question is:
I like to go back and read anything by Suzanne Young. She is an amazing author. I have fallen in love with her books over and over and over. I love to go back and read A Need So Beautiful. It is and always be that book that steals my heart over and over again. Charlotte is one of those characters that make me feel what she is feeling. She was so courageous, and she is just amazing to me. I re-read it last week, and it still makes me feel the same way. I even feel that I love it more and more each time I read it. & then you have Harlin. *sigh*. I have also had the pleasure of reading The Program, which I have honestly read 3 times. I cannot wait to read the arc version to see the changes, and again the finished copy!! You guys are going to LOVE it! Be ready for awesomeness!
Another author is Lisa Schroeder. She is fantastic at verse books. They have this way of touching your heart and making you feel at peace. Even some of them are really sad, they have a way of making you feel very happy. Every word she writes brings you one step closer to that ending that will take your breath away! Far From you had me crying like a baby, yes! I had just lost my grandmother when I read this, and that probably didn't help but it made me smile, and cry and in the end left me SO happy! All of Lisa's books are amazing.
My very new go to authors has to be added. Although I have only read their books once, since my copies aren't here yet. I just know that I will be picking them back up, and anything they write in the future. That would be Katie McGarry. Pushing The Limits was such an amazing book. I mean the characters were so well written, and the whole book just made "my heart feel super happy". & Noah, he seriously.. wow.. amazing. Just amazing. Echo and Noah, were just meant to be, and for me it was perfect!
Then we have Trish Doller, her book had a male role for the main character, Travis. I just loved him. He was not perfect. He just had come home from a war, and wasn't ok! Her recapture of the war, to his PTSD was on point, and I loved that she wrote about something that was not easy to deal with, but created this beautiful story! I loved Trish's writing, it was very hard to put that book down.
As there are so many OTHER authors books I love, these authors I choose to go to when I am in a rut. Because I just know I will fall even more in love with the book.
What authors are your go to authors when you are in a reading rut? I would love to know.
