BEA is going on right now!! But, of course some of us can not make it to NYC, so there is Armchair BEA for us! How cool is that! Check it out!
I am Loretta! I am 26! I am a mother of 2 CRAZY kids & I have been married for 8 1/2 years!
I have been blogging 2 years in July.
My IRL friend helped with that. She is also a blogger. Reading Angel. Plus my love for books, blogging was the perfect thing for me!
2.) What are you currently reading, or what is your favorite book you have read so far in 2012?
5.) Have your reading tastes changed since you started blogging? How?
3.) Tell us one non-book-related thing that everyone reading your blog may not know about you.I am currently reading Fighting to Survive by Rhiannon Frater
My favorite book right now is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green!
That book was so freaking amazing!
*sigh*
4.) What is your favorite part about the book blogging community? Is there anything that you would like to see change in the coming years?Well I am the most organized "pack rat" ever.
I love shoes. Heels. High, VERY high Heels!
I hate ketchup, besides on fries!
I hate bugs & birds!
I love meeting new bloggers. Trying my best to help them however I can.I know how hard it was 1st starting out.
I would love to see the "drama" dwindle down !!
5.) Have your reading tastes changed since you started blogging? How?
YES! I read a lot of books I had never heard of before.
I got into YA big.
Zombies big!!
I was reading a lot of Historical Romance & Crime books before blogging!!

Hey Loretta! Damn! I somehow missed the drama everyone is talking about- Lol!
ReplyDeleteI have read more YA since I started blogging. I would not have chosen it but I got some ARCs and ended up liking them.
So it pays to try new things. Have fun at Armchair BEA!!!
Hey Loretta! I am reading The Fault in Our Stars right now. So glad to hear you loved it! I wish I was an organized pack rat, but unfortunately I'm just a pack rat! lol Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHey Loretta! I am with you on the reading changes. I was one that didn't follow the dystopian hype until March of this year, but once I dived into it I loved it! And its so great to see that you like to help out starting bloggers!
ReplyDeleteWOO HOO!! I'm glad you have come over to the YA side. AND, zombies!! Love them. Can't say I agree with you about the heels though. :) Have a good Armchair BEA week.
ReplyDeleteHi Loretta! While I first "met" you at the blogger/author chat hosted by Kara, it was fun getting to know more about you! The Fault in Our Stars seems to be on everyone's list - such an amazing read that can touch a reader's heart so deeply! Have a great day, and ttyl!
ReplyDeleteMy introduction post :)
Love that you are crazy mom :) and glad to meet you today
ReplyDeleteI know all about crazy kids over here too! LOL
ReplyDeleteI totally agree about The Fault in Our Stars. Such an amazing book.
It is nice to meet you! :)
My intro!
I've never been able to understand the appeal of high heels. Please explain. My shoe of choice... sneakers hands down! :) And what's up with zombies too!!! :) Happy ABEA!
ReplyDeleteI got 4 Crazy ones myself, so I totally understand where your coming from! I totally agree w/you about the drama wish it would dwindle down! Enjoy BEA!
ReplyDeleteYou look so young I was so surprised when I found out you had TWO kids!! I also LOVE shoes, like CRAAAAAYZY and purses<3<3
ReplyDeleteRacquel @ The Book Barbies♥
I totally hate birds too. Or rather I've been scared of them since I was a tiny child, and I still am for no discernible reason except they creep me out. Haha, I love how that's the information I pulled out of your post. =b
ReplyDeleteAnyway, here is my introduction.
Loving that you're doing this, too, chica! It's so much fun to get to know what makes my fellow bloggers tick. I also have a love for shoes, just not the budget to fulfill that love. LOL.
ReplyDeleteEEP!! Hey Loretta! That sounds amazing, that you got to be in the armchair! I hope you enjoy more of BEA! :D
ReplyDeleteI have heard a lot of people say they have recently got into YA because of blogging. Nice!
ReplyDeleteI'm the same with YA not so much with zombies. The ketchup made me laugh, my son eats it on everything!
ReplyDeleteLol like to see the drama go down a bit! Think we are on the same page with this one!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy this Armchair BEA and I will do my best to bring you stuff back from ALA!
IT's SOOO nice to "meet" you too my dear ;) We still on for lunch tomorrow? :D
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I love ketchup, birds... and some bugs, the pretty ones, lol! and no heels for me, I'm too much of a klutz!
ReplyDeleteI really must be the only person who hasn't or isn't currently reading a John Green book! I have two of his books on my shelf, so I must get to them this summer!
It was great to learn more about you, Loretta :) Happy reading!
I still need to read FIOS! I decided to read John Green's books from least "best" to "best" so I can love them all, and I'm currently on my second one! Shoes, yes! We were at Joann Fabrics today and I saw this fabric with shoes and I wanted it, lol!
ReplyDeleteMy shoe closet used to be overflowing; I had an absolutely obsession with high heels! but since having kids I am a flats girl {sigh}..
ReplyDeleteI will have to look into The Fault in Our Stars.
My Introduction - http://obsessionwithbooks.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/armchair-bea-introduction.html
Duuude!!! Okay, so Fault in Our Stars was really that good?? I don't remember really wanting to read it!!!
ReplyDeleteORGANIZED??? I DO do have the pack rat thing DOWN... Just not the ORGANIZATION!
I LOVE YOU!!
Zombies are cool. I've not read a whole bunch of books about them, but in general, I enjoy them. I share your dislike of ketchup. If I'm eating it, whatever I've put it on tastes a whole lot worse than the ketchup.
ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about Rhiannon Frater's work and am looking forward to reading some of her books soon. :)
