The stranger sitting next to you asks you to be his five-minute date. So what do you? You lock lips . Nick and Norah's instant connect begins a roller-coaster "first date" that takes them through Manhattan and into themselves. A novel concept that works.
This was a very fast read at only 183 pages. I am very glad that I picked it up for the read-a-thon. I will be getting more of David Levithan and Rachel Cohn books. They write great. I will try there books separate too, to see how I like them also.
I really enjoyed this read. Even if you have never been to New York, are not big on music, that is fine. You follow the book well. I love how each chapter was either Nick or Norah speaking. It gives you a feel for each character fully.
5 minuet date is what starts it all. After Nick is dumped by his girlfriend Tris. He asks Norah to be his 5 min girlfriend! So, what does Norah do? Lays one on him. Kisses him right then & there. awww.
Nick & Norah are both very likable characters. As you take the adventure with them, you start to love them. They have some very cute moments. I am really BIG on music. But you do not have to be to love this novel! Go out and pick up this book. You will read it super fast and you will love it. Well, Atleast I did! :)
